TRINITY

Seasonal Rhymth

This is our first Sunday after Pentecost. We have journeyed through Advent to Christmas (For God so loved the world he gave his one and only Son..), then onward to lent, Good Friday and Easter (the work of the Son) and now the outpouring of the Holy Spirit: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Where to now but Trinity Sunday?

Thought for the week: “Therefore, it is a good thing to let prayer be the first business of the morning and the last of the evening.  Guard yourself carefully against such false and deceitful thoughts that keep whispering: Wait awhile.  In an hour or so I will pray.  I must first finish this or that.  Thinking such thoughts, we get away from prayer into business that will hold us and involve us till the prayer of the day comes to naught.” (Martin Luther.)
